Tango Brook Technologies Limited, a leading digital payment solutions provider, has achieved the ISO 27001:2022 certification, reinforcing its commitment to data protection and customer trust.

The firm disclosed that the certification, an internationally recognised standard for information security management systems (ISMS), confirms that Tango Brook has implemented effective processes to safeguard customer information, manage risks, and maintain system integrity.

The managing director and chief executive officer of Tango Brook Technologies, Obi Wemambu, said the certification underscored the company’s dedication to security and customer confidence.

“The ISO 27001:2022 standard is an internationally recognised benchmark for information security management systems. Tango Brook’s achievement demonstrates our unwavering commitment to data security and customer trust,” Wemambu stated.

“Security is the bedrock of digital trust. Our ISO certification goes beyond compliance — it’s a pledge to protect customer data diligently. With the Tango Fuel Card, we’re redefining fuel payments through transparency, top-tier security, and smart rewards.”

Also speaking, the company’s Head of Legal Department, Omobolanle Pase, described the certification as proof of Tango Brook’s proactive approach to managing information security risks.

“ISO 27001:2022 guides how we identify threats, apply safeguards, and keep systems resilient. Achieving this certification wasn’t just a formality; it reflects our deep commitment to keeping customer data safe and building lasting trust,” she said.

Pase added that leading the certification process was a rewarding experience and expressed gratitude to the team for their dedication.

The milestone comes shortly after the company launched the Tango Fuel Card, a unified smart fuel and fleet management platform designed to help individuals, households, and organisations track and optimise fuel expenditure while preventing fraud. According to the firm, the platform combines physical payment cards accepted nationwide with digital tools, insights, and analytics for efficient fuel management.
