Displaced Persons Returning Home Safely – Niger Gov

Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago has promised not to leave anything to chance in securing life and property in the state.

He said in a Sallah message through his chief press secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, that some of the internally displaced persons (IDPs), were safely returning to their ancestral homes because of the dexterity of the security agencies.

While congratulating the Muslim faithful world over on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, he urged Muslims to remain steadfast in the worship of Allah and to follow the teachings of the Quran and the Hadith

He observed that the Eid-el-Fitr celebration is a period of love, tolerance, and goodwill to all and another opportunity to remain devoted and submissive to the will of Allah.

Governor Bago also tasked Muslims to continue to uphold piety, patience, tolerance, perseverance, humility and self-denial which were observed vigorously during the Holy month beyond the period, for a better society.

While also urging the Muslim Ummah to continue in their prayers for enduring peace in the State and the Nation, the governor used the opportunity to restate his commitment to achieving the “New Niger” policy of his administration while calling for the support and understanding of all citizens.
