DLM Capital Group has made its second principal and interest payment to investors under its N9 billion Sovereign Bond-Backed Composite Notes (SBCN) issued under its N30 billion Medium-Term Notes Programme listed on FMDQ Exchange.
The group paid N948,493,055.89 to Tranche A holders and N197,077,309.63 to Tranche B holders, six months after its first coupon payment on the N7.30 billion Series 1 (Tranche A) and N1.70 billion Series 3 (Tranche B) Plain Vanilla Returns SBCN.
The instrument was developed by group CEO, Sonnie Babatunde Ayere, and rated AAA by Global Credit Rating and DataPro Limited, and entered the market in July 2025.
Tranche A is listed on FMDQ as part of the N9 billion Series 1 issuance under the N30 billion programme.
The group said it has maintained quarterly performance reporting to provide investors with visibility into the instrument’s performance.
The group said the second payment reflects its track record on the SBCN and reinforces investor confidence through its credit ratings, transparency and timely fulfilment of obligations.
Ayere said the milestone underlines the group’s commitment to innovative financial solutions and its role in deepening Nigeria’s capital market as the country’s first Development Investment Bank.
He added that the SBCN structure would continue to be positioned as a benchmark for execution-backed innovation in Nigeria’s fixed income market.
The group described the second coupon payment as a continuation of its commitment to developing and delivering financial solutions backed by execution, transparency and value for investors and stakeholders, while strengthening its position as a leading financial institution contributing to the development of Nigeria’s financial ecosystem.
