Renowned philanthropist and founder of the Dr Folabora Bryhm Foundation, Dr. Folabora Bryhm, has strongly condemned the recent killings in Odo-Ape, Bunu, calling for immediate action to restore peace and justice in the community.

The tragic incident involved the murder of two individuals, Sunday Aiyedero and a Tiv resident, by unknown gunmen.

The attack has left the once peaceful community of Odo-Ape in shock and mourning.

In a heartfelt statement, Dr. Bryhm expressed his sadness over the senseless violence, emphasizing the need for collective action from both the government and the people to ensure justice and strengthen security.

“I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives in Odo-Ape. The killings of Sunday Aiyedero and the Tiv man are deplorable acts that have shaken the foundation of our peaceful community. We must unite to ensure that the perpetrators of these horrible crimes are brought to justice,” Dr. Bryhm said.

Extending his condolences to the bereaved families and the community, Dr. Bryhm reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for a safer Kabba/Bunu and Kogi State.

“We will not allow these acts of violence to define us. Together, we will work towards a peaceful and secure environment for all residents,” he added.

Dr. Bryhm also urged the government to intensify efforts in addressing security concerns, ensuring that incidents like this do not recur.

The call for justice and enhanced security comes as Odo-Ape and its neighboring communities grapple with the aftermath of the attack, seeking reassurance and safety amidst rising tensions.
