D’Tigers Placed In Group B For 2025 Afrobasket Qualifiers

After failing to pick the 2024 Olympic Games ticket, Nigeria’s D’Tigers are expected to be back in action in February 2024.

FIBA Africa has released the official draw and date for the qualifiers slated to begin next year.

According to the draw earlier conducted D’Tigers is placed in group B. The first window will take place from February 19 to 27, 2024. It will see the entry of groups B, E and D.

Groups A and C will play their first qualifying window from November 18 to 26, 2024.

The final window of these qualifiers will take place from February 17 to 25, 2025. Concerning the countries hosting the windows of these qualifications, they will not have not yet been designated.

Group A: South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Q Z6 + Mauritius + Comoros

Group B: Cape Verde, Nigeria, Q Z1 + Z2, Uganda

Group C: Senegal, Cameroon, Q Z3 +Z4, Rwanda

Group D: Ivory Coast, Egypt, Central African Republic, Q Z5 + Madagascar + Djibouti

Group E: Tunisia, Angola, Guinea, Kenya
