Easter: Kwara Workers Receive April Salaries

Ahead of the Easter celebration, workers in Kwara State are in high spirits as the state government has commenced the payment of their April salaries.

LEADERSHIP Weekend gathered that the workers started receiving bank alerts for their April salaries on Thursday.

Pensioners were not left out as some of them have also received bank alerts for their pensions.
Some civil servants who spoke with LEADERSHIP Weekend in Ilorin yesterday confirmed the receipt of their April salaries.

They praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for prioritising workers’ and pensioners’ welfare at all times.

A civil servant, Mrs Victoria Afolayan, confirmed receiving alert for salary on Thursday.
Another civil servant, Malam Saheed Shehu, also said he had been paid.
