Dynamic Ebira Friends Club has successfully supported the prosecution of Lamidi Suberu Abdulhamid for sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl.

The incident occurred on January 21, 2022, in Karaworo, Adavi local government area of Kogi State.

The club’s committee on girl-child molestation and drug abuse swiftly intervened, funding investigations, medical treatment and witness attendance.

After a prolonged legal battle, the Family High Court sitting in Lokoja on Thursday found Abdulhamid guilty of unlawful sexual intercourse with a child, sentencing him to six years imprisonment without option of fine.

Reacting to the verdict, the director of information, Dynamic Ebira Friends Club, Abubakar Qamar, commended members of the club, particularly Alhaji Idris Salawu Dongo, chairman of the Girl Child Molestation and Drug Abuse Committee, immediate past president, Dr. Tijjani Ahmed Ajayi, and David Adeiza Bell, Esq. for their tireless efforts.
