As anticipation builds for the premiere of Big Brother Naija Season 11, longtime host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has urged viewers to avoid rushing to choose a favourite housemate on the first day of the show.

In a video released ahead of the season’s launch, Ebuka shared a list of “dos and don’ts” for fans, encouraging them to give contestants time to prove themselves before deciding who deserves their support.

“Don’t pick a fave on day one,” he said.

“Some of you do that. You say, ‘I’ve already picked the person from the stage.’ Let them show you what they came to the show to do. Don’t just because you like their clothes or you like the way they look, or they said something funny. It’s a lot of weeks to go, so don’t pick a winner on day one, please.”

He also encouraged fans to actively support their preferred housemates through voting, joking that they should vote “three times, 20 times, 250 times or even 1,000 times.”

Ebuka further urged viewers to stay tuned for the drama the reality show is known for and appealed to fans not to miss the live eviction shows throughout the season.

He concluded by reminding viewers to watch the launch show on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family.
