Edo 2024: APC Reps Caucus Donates N200m To Gov’ship Candidate, Running Mate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caucus in the House of Representatives has pledged its support for Senator Monday Okpebholo and Hon. Dennis Idahosa, the party’s candidate and running mate for Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.

The contribution demonstrates the APC Caucus’ strong solidarity and loyalty towards the party’s campaign for this weekend governorship polls.

In a statement signed by the House’s Deputy Speaker and Chairman of the Fundraising Committee, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, the donation made by individual members of the APC in the 10th House was coordinated under his leadership.

The Caucus expressed its determination to leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the party’s victory in Edo State.

They emphasised their commitment to supporting Senator Okpebholo and Hon. Idahosa, their colleagues, who they said have consistently shown capacity and competence in their public service.

According to the statement, the cheque for the donation was presented by the Leader of the House, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere and witnessed by the by Clerk of the House, Dr Yahaya Danzaria; Hon. Billy Osawaru (APC, Edo) and Chief of Staff to the Speaker, Prof. Jake Dan-Azumi.
