Edo APC Holds Grand Finale Campaign Ahead Sept 21 Guber Poll

The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Monday, held its grand finale campaign rally in Benin City, State capital, signaling the climax of its campaign for votes ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial election slated for Saturday, September 21, 2024.

The event attracted thousands of supporters, party leaders, and stakeholders, all demonstrating their support for the APC governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo.

Held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, the rally saw speeches from key APC figures, including national and state leaders, who underscored the need for APC to take charge of in governance in Edo State. They emphasised that the party’s candidate, widely seen as a front-runner, represents the best choice to ensure that Edo continues on its path of development and good governance.

In his address to the enthusiastic crowd, the APC gubernatorial candidate Okpebholo reassured voters that his administration, if elected, would prioritise economic growth, infrastructural development, and job creation. He urged Edo State residents to come out en masse on Election Day to vote for progress and a brighter future.

APC national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, echoed the sentiments, lauding the APC’s track record in Edo and across the country. He stressed that the party’s candidate has the experience, vision, and determination to take the state to new heights.

As the rally came to a close, the energy and optimism among APC supporters remained palpable. With the election just days away, the APC has solidified its position as a formidable contender in what is expected to be a hotly contested race. The party is counting on a strong voter turnout to secure victory and maintain its influence in Edo State politics.
