The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared the South-West women leader of the City Boys Movement, Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, wanted over an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence.
The EFCC, while making the announcement in a notice shared on X on Monday and signed by its head of media and publicity, Dele Oyewale, called for information that would lead to the arrest of Tejuosho.
The commission urged members of the public with information on Tejuosho’s whereabouts to contact any EFCC office across the country.
The EFCC asked the public to report through its official phone lines and email channels, or to the nearest police station and other security agencies.
Recall that Tejuosho was recently appointed South-West Zonal women leader of the pro-President Bola Tinubu’s youth support group, the City Boys Movement.
In a statement announcing her appointment, the group said she would provide strategic leadership for women-focused activities in the South-West, with responsibilities including political mobilisation, civic engagement and advocacy.
