Buni had in a Sallah message issued by the director general Press Affairs and Media, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, highlighted the significance of the Eid festival, urging citizens to uphold the values of sacrifice, charity, and love, and to extend it to neighbours, regardless of political, religious, or cultural differences.
The governor described the Eid celebration as a renewed opportunity for both residents and pilgrims in Saudi Arabia to offer prayers for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Yobe State and Nigeria at large.
