In a press release signed by his special assistant on media and publicity, Umar Alkali Jibril, the minister highlighted the importance of emulating the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and generosity embodied in the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, as enshrined in the Qur’an.

Alkali urged Muslims to incorporate these virtues into their daily lives to foster unity, peace, and progress among Nigerians, free from any sentiments.

The minister also felicitated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Emir of Gombe, Dr Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, and the Ummah for witnessing another Eid-el-Kabir.

He encouraged Nigerians to reflect on the essence of the occasion, which holds significant meaning for the country’s prosperity.
