Ahead of the February presidential election, Ekiti State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to inaugurate the State Presidential Campaign Council.
The 143-member campaign council that would be inaugurated today has the mandate of prosecuting the 2023 general elections for the party’s candidates including Asiwaju Bola Tinubu across board in the state with a view to ensure victory for them.
This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the State Secretary, Hon. Garba Arogundade and made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti.
He said the 143 members of the campaign council will be inaugurated at the Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday.
The secretary urged the council members to ensure they attend the Inauguration punctually.
The statement directed concerned members who have not yet collected their appointment letters to as a matter of urgency contact the appropriate place to get it.
The council headed by Governor Biodun Oyebanji is co-chaire by the former governor of the state, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, while the state chairman of the party, Bar. Paul Omotosho, will serve as the coordinator to the campaign council.
