I had met with the special adviser on security to the governor to unveil our plans on the security of the council to him.

“In my local government, we have five wards; we want to have at least five security operatives in each of the wards, making it 25.

“We are trying to have our own local security outfits which we have named ‘Moba Aboba Security Enforcement (MASE).’ It means don’t go there or do it and if you do it, you will have to face the consequences. MASE comprises local hunters and vigilantes in our communities.

“Those to be engaged for the local security outfit are expected to begin their training by next week. At the end of the training, they will be equipped with all they need to work with, including a unique uniform for clear identification.”
