Men of Ekiti State Police Command have arrested a man identified as Jimoh Abdulrahman for assaulting his wife.

The man allegedly brutally assaulted one Mrs Akintunde Bidemi Taiwo of the NOVA area, Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.

The incident, according to the command’s Police Public Relations Office, SP Sunday Abutu, occurred on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

Abutu said, “Upon a tip-off and after watching the viral video of the victim, the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Eribo, directed the DPO Oke-Ila to immediately identify the culprit, arrest him and commence a thorough investigation.

“The operatives from Oke-Ila division swung into action and arrested the suspect”.
