Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr.) Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, has called on Muslims to support the underprivileged during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

He made the appeal after the Rak’ah Eid prayer at the Eid ground in Bauchi yesterday, saying such gestures would foster a sense of belonging and unity within the Muslim Ummah.

He stated that the call was necessary in light of the current economic hardships affecting many families, stressing the importance of helping one another, particularly during festive periods.

Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu also commended Governor Bala Mohammed for his visionary leadership and consistent support for the people and traditional institutions across the state.

The emir further urged farmers to heed expert advice during this year’s farming season to ensure a bumper harvest.
