Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has called on individuals, corporate organisations and especially government at all tiers to supportĀ tourist attractions in the country.
He made the call in Asaba yesterday during the unveiling of an arts exhibition in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Didi Museum and official opening of Nelson Mandela Gardens & Resort, saying such effort were a sort of creating employment for Nigerians.
The founder, Didi Museum, Dr Newton Jibunoh, said trees planted three years ago were now giving shades.
He said even though three traditional rulers, Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunnade Sijuade and late HRM Omo n’oba Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa1, were late,
they still live, as their offerings were there to celebrate the journey started 40 years ago.
