Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command attached to the Anti-Cultism Tactical Squad have arrested six male suspects for forcefully initiating victims into the Supreme Vikings Confraternity.
The initiation took place on November 25, 2025, in a forest at Ugwu Peak, Iva Valley, Enugu North Local Government Area of the State.
Spokesman of the State Police Command, SP Daniel Ndukwe, disclosed that one locally made double-barrelled pistol and four cutlasses used for the criminal activities as well as two empty bottles of Squadron rum were recovered from the suspects.
Ndukwe said the suspects have confessed to membership of the secret cult group and their involvement in the criminal acts.
He said they will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of investigations.
