Enugu State lawmaker representing Igbo Etiti/Uzouwani federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Nwodo Stainless Chijoke, has described the speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas as a competent leader.
Chijoke stated this during his birthday celebration at the National Assembly.
He commended the speaker for his show of solidarity at his birthday by sending a delegation to join other members and Nigerians in wishing him happy birthday celebration.
He prayed to God to accord the speaker more wisdom while reiterating his confidence in the competency of the speaker as leader in the House of Representatives.
Chijoke promised his unflinching support to the speaker to succeed in his new mandate so as to collectively, make Nigeria proud.
“Today is my happiest day because I’ve never had this kind of birthday celebration before now, where prominent and more respective people come to celebrate my birthday most especially my colleagues in the Parliament, they came and I was surprised and filled with joy to have them.
“Today’s birthday, it is so special because the number Four Citizen sent a delegation here. I can flash back, it is a thing of joy for the Number Four Person in Nigeria is interested that am having my birthday.
“So, it’s not easy and I can see how my senior colleagues and colleagues in the Parliament coming around me, who have just left now, upon the end of birthday ceremony. That shows that, I have a good record. So, I’m very happy to associate with people like that,” he added.
