Nigerian-born youngster Chibuzor Nwoko is also in the running for the award.

Nwoko’s strike in Fulham’s U-18 3-1 win against Chelsea made the shortlist.

Ollie O’Neil, Lille Lambird, Tia Foreman, Callum Osmand, Madi Parsonson, Matt Dibley-Dias and Callum McFarlane are the other players nominated for the award.

Iwobi joined Fulham from Everton on transfer deadline day.
