Ange Postecoglou has once again been named Premier League Manager of the Month for September, while Heung-min Son made it another Tottenham double as he picked up the Player Award for the same month.
Spurs sit top of the League table after going unbeaten in the opening eight games of the season, with the club making a flying start to life under their new manager.
Tottenham won three of their four League matches in September, including dramatic victories over Sheffield United and Liverpool, with a draw away to Arsenal their only dropped points of the month.
As a result, Postecoglou has won the Manager of the Month award, as he did in August, and is the first manager to win it in each of the first two months of the season since Jurgen Klopp did so 2019.
It was James Maddison who joined Postecoglou in being awarded in August and this month it is Heung-min Son, with the Spurs captain continuing the club’s dominance.
Son scored a hat-trick against Burnley and netted a brace in the north London derby against Arsenal, stepping up as the side’s talisman with Harry Kane no longer at the club.
“Just want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me,” Son said while on international duty with South Korea.
“We want to keep up our good form and I can’t wait to see you all at our next game against Fulham. Come on you Spurs!”
