Ethiopian Airlines has revealed plans to add extra three flights to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja from October 28, 2025.

The airlines announced the plan in a statement issued by the its Nigeria’s Area Manager, Mrs Firiehiwot Mekonnen.

Mekonnen explained that additional three flights will be conducted weekly to the daily flights already operating out of Abuja, noting that the extra flights would be in the evening while the daily flight would stay at midday.

Part of the statement read that: “Passengers from Abuja will have increased options. The extra flights will offer immediate connection to many African and Asian destinations that reduce the total hours of flight time for passengers.

“The extra flights from Abuja do not just offer more flights, it comes with extra benefits, more baggage allowance. You can also get double miles if you fly with us.
