The statement further stated that Colonel Sani Bello (Rtd) is expected to chair the event, while the executive governor of Niger State, Farmer Umar Mohammed Bago (Turaki Nupe), will be the chief host , and the minister of Federal Capital Territory will be the host.

It added that the event would be an avenue for professionals in agriculture and related studies to brainstorm and proffer solutions to teething problems deterring the development of agriculture in Nigeria.

“It is also a forum for contributing to the sustenance of the objectives of Etsu Yahaya Foundation, which is primarily established to cater for the indigents in the areas of Education, health, Youth and Women empowerment, among others”, the statement added.

Yawa urged all to attend as the occasion coincided with the Nupe Day celebration, which was cancelled in empathy for the flood victims in Mokwa.
