Nollywood actress and filmmaker Amb (Dr) Queen Blessing Ebigieson, known as QBE, is running for the position of national President of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP). If elected, she promises to promote inclusivity, unity, and progress within the association.

Having served as Vice President in charge of movie and film productions in Nigeria, QBE stepped into the role of President after the passing of former president Peace Anyiam-Osigwe in January 2023.

In an exclusive interview with E-train, she expressed her commitment to building on the association’s past achievements while initiating new projects.

“I am dedicated to fostering unity and inclusivity among our members, enhancing our industry’s global competitiveness, showcasing Nigerian films on the international stage, and celebrating our cultural heritage,” she stated.

As the sole candidate for the national presidency, she is expected to run unopposed. The AMP presidential election is scheduled for Saturday, September 28th, and Ebigieson is actively seeking the support of her fellow association members.
