After their controversial Premier League defeat to Tottenham, Liverpool now turn their attentions to the Europa League, as they host Belgians Union Saint-Gilloise on matchday two of the group stage.
The Reds began their European campaign with a 3-1 win at LASK Linz late last month, while Union SG – who were Europa League quarter-finalists in 2022/23 – opened up with a 1-1 against Toulouse.
The Europa League Group E match will be played at Anfield, Liverpool, on Thursday 5 October 2023, with kick-off at 3 p.m. ET.
Liverpool have netted three times in seven of their nine games so far this season. We reckon Jürgen Klopp’s men will continue that scoring trend in victory over Union SG.
