A former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (rtd), has pledged continued scholarship support for vulnerable students in Bauchi State so that they can access quality education and contribute to nation-building.
Sadique made the commitment while hosting graduates of Malikiyya College of Health Bauchi, whom he sponsored, at his residence in Bauchi.

He emphasised that education is vital for development and called for increased efforts to empower youths.
“Without education, there can be no development,” he said, describing young people as invaluable assets to Bauchi and Nigeria.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke at the event, including Adamu Muhammad and Maryam  Abdu, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to pursue their dreams in community health.
Our correspondent reports that over 200 youths from Bauchi’s 20 local government areas have benefited from the foundation’s scholarships to study National Diploma courses at Malikiyya College of Health.
