Renowned entrepreneur and former director of Berger Paints Nigeria Plc, Elder Jethro Ajishogun has passed on at age 85.
The late Ajishogun from Idanre in Ondo State, who was also the company secretary and registrar of one of the top paint manufacturing companies, died after a protracted illness.
An official statement by the family, signed by Mr Omotayo Olufemi, stated “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elder Jethro Omotayo Ajishogun, a revered figure in the administrative sector and a cherished member of the community. Elder Ajishogun departed from this world in the early hours of Tuesday, February 20, 2024, after bravely battling a protracted illness.
“Elder Ajishogun will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His wisdom, integrity, and kindness left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he encountered, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations. He was a community leader of repute whose services resonated deeply in the areas of security, community development projects, and programs. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends, and colleagues of Elder Ajishogun during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.’’
Elder Ajishogun leaves behind a legacy of excellence and dedication. Throughout his illustrious career, he served as the company secretary/director of Berger Paints, where his leadership and expertise were invaluable. His contributions to the company span decades and his impact will be felt for years to come.
A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), Elder Ajishogun was widely respected for his deep knowledge and unwavering commitment to his profession. He was a trusted advisor and mentor to many, always ready to offer guidance and support to those in need.
