Ex-Gov Makarfi Loses Son In Auto Crash

A former governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi, yesterday lost his son, Faisal, in an auto crash along the Kaduna-Zaria dual carriageway yesterday evening.

Ahmed Makarfi was also a senator representing Kaduna North and one-time interim national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The late Faisal, a civil engineer by training, attended Kaduna International School and proceeded to Adesoye College, Offa, Kwara State, for his secondary education. He attended the University of Greenwich, London, for undergraduate and master’s degrees and enrolled for PhD at the same institution.
