A former deputy governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has joined millions of Nigerians  in fervent supplications  for the freedom of  former lawmaker, Hon. Ngozi  Ogbu, abducted last week  in the state.

Prince Madumere made this known through a statement made available to newsmen in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.

He expressed  concern over  cases of kidnapping in the state, including the recent abduction of Hon. Ngozi Ogbu, a former member of the Imo State House of Assembly, who was  abducted by suspected hoodlums,

according to the viral video on social media space.

Prince Madumere  called  for God’s  supernatural  intervention and urged  security agencies to intensify  efforts so as to ensure the immediate release of Hon. Ogbu.

He said, ” We must continue to pray for God’s supernatural intervention on behalf of our brother, Hon. Ogbu for speedy release and called on security agencies to work assiduously in order to secure his release. “With God on our side, victory is assured”.

The former deputy governor emphasised the  challenging  scenario of Hon. Ogbu, whose beloved mother’s remains currently lie in the morgue, awaiting  burial.
