The presidency has confirmed an imminent cabinet reshuffle. Special adviser to the president on information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this to State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa yesterday.
He, however, said he didn’t know if the reshuffle would happen before October 1 but that it would soon happen.
Onanuga said, “The president has expressed his desire to the reshuffle the cabinet, and he will do it. I don’t know whether he’s going to do it before October one, but he will surely do it.
“So that’s what I will say. He has not given us any timeline when he wants to do it, he has expressed his plan he wants to do it.”
Senior special assistant on digital and new media, O’tega Ogra, said, “We need to realise that the president’s decision is based on empirical evidence.
Recall that the president appointed ministers in August last year.
