Experts To Discuss Economic Outlook For Treasurers At FMDA’s Conference

Deputy governor, Economic Policy Directorate, Central Bank of Nigeria’s, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi will give the keynote address, managing director/CEO Optimus Bank Ltd, Dr. Ademola Odeyemi, MD/CEO Financial Derivatives Co. Ltd are among dignitaries expected at the 8th Financial Markets Dealers Association’s Annual Conference.

The event is scheduled to be held in Lagos, next week, with the Theme: “Global Economic and Domestic Outlook: Implications for Nigerian Treasurers.”

Acting executive secretary, Mary Gbegbaje, in a statement, noted that the conference was designed to provide an opportunity for financial markets participants, regulators, investors, corporate organisations and other stakeholders to deliberate on domestic and global economic outlook for year 2025 with impact on Treasurers

President FMDA, Nadia Zakari will deliver the opening address.

The guest speakers, Odeyemi and Rewane will speak on the topic” Navigating the Regulatory Landscape: The Treasurer’s Role in Driving Economic Growth” and “Strategies for Managing Inflation and Interest Rate Risks in a Volatile Economy”, respectively.
