FAAN Lauds Gov Lawal Over Gusau Airport Project

The management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has commended Governor Dauda Lawal over the construction of the International Airport in Gusau.

This was made by the delegation of the agency led by Muktar Ali Dan-Batta during an inspection of the airport site in Gusau.

Dan-Batta specifically commended the high quality of the materials used in the construction which he described as the best ongoing airport project in Northern Nigeria.

This was contained in a statement by the Zamfara State information officer, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Jamilu Bello.

According to the statement, the FAAN delegation was received and conducted round the airport site in Gusau by the commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Lawal Barau Bungudu, who briefed the team on the progress recorded towards the completion of the airport.

Bungudu informed the delegation that the Gusau International Airport is expected to significantly boost air transportation in addition to attract investment, and stimulate economic development in Zamfara State.
