“How should I carry on? Only the Almighty God will give me the grace and strength to always bring us together and equally see to it that your children receive the best of training and care.
“As we bid farewell to our brother and exceptional gentleman, teacher, and man who loved God with passion, I want people to make peace with their maker. Bear no grudges and live an upright life to the best of your knowledge.”
He wrote: “We all know that there is a time to be born and a time to say goodbye to this world. One thing we have always been afraid of is when we will die and how we are going to die. Yet we don’t have a fixed place, time, or date. We only pray that we reach the right age or the biblical age, for the Christians before passing on. Interestingly, only God knows, apportions, and fixes it as He so chooses.
“Our beloved brother, we are always moved whenever you tell us not to worry about certain things but say “One with God is majority” Being a human Manager, you came across different people of various ethnic groups, and walks of life and had exceptional working relationships with them. They spoke in glorious tributes of you when they heard about your passing on to higher glory.
“In the Catholic Church where you belong, it was difficult to see you being absent from mass or other church activities, history will always mention you at all stages both home and abroad.
At the parent church, Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church Gwoza, Off Sauka, Airport Road, Abuja; you were the Pioneer Chairman of the Catholic Men Organisation (CMO). For eight (8) years (2011-2018) you represented both Parish and Archdiocesan Levels.
“You were also the Pioneer President of the Board of Lectors the same eight years. A Chorister while at home and Abuja. You used your life, time, energy, and resources to serve the Lord in his vineyard.
“At home in Ishiuzo, you never joked with the church. As if you had a premonition of your date with God, on arrival for a two-week break with your family, you went around the village exchanging pleasantries with all. You equally attended all the daily church activities of Sacred Heart.
