A director in the Ministry of Finance, Delta State, Mr. Ochuko Regha has has demanded for justice, stating that his daughter, “Oghenefejiro, was killed for ritual purposes”.
The lifeless body of Oghenefejiro, a 400 level student of Accounting, Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Edo State, was found dead in the room of her Killer boyfriend, Ochonogor Victor last week Monday.
It was said that Oghenefejiro, travelled from Ekpoma, to Benin to spend the weekend with Victor, her boyfriend, not knowing the boy had a plan to murder her for ritual purposes.
It was the noise during the scuffle between Oghenefejiro and Victor that attracted the neighbors of victor after sensing danger from the distress noise of the girl.
The father of the deceased who alleged that the suspect killer boy killed his daughter with knives and other materials in his room with the sole aim of using her parts for rituals, demanded that he must get justice.
Narrating his ordeal, he said; “At about 11:45am on Monday morning I called my daughter twice and there was no response. I
later sent her WhatsApp messages that says ‘ ”Sugar girl how are you” but it didn’t deliver till her last breath of her brutal and untimely death.”
According to the father, “The boy who killed my daughter, even threatened the only man left in the compound that heard my daughter’s cry. Getting to the killer boy’s apartment, the burglary proof were locked with heavy keys.
“He then went to alert local vigilantes who came and broke the keys to the apartment, but before help could get to my daughter, she was already dead.”
On the next action he wants to take, the sad father said all he wanted presently is for Victor, the killer to face the wrath of the law inorder to serve as a deterrent to others.
