Matchday 36 fixture between FC Dallas and the Colorado Rapids has been postponed due to inclement weather near Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
CBS News Texas reported that two people were injured at the stadium, including an 8-year-old who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Another fan posted on social media that an “O” from the Toyota lettering on the North concourse flew across the stadium and struck them. The fan included that the injury was reported to the EMT staff. The fan posted a photo of a piece of the “O,” which they claimed to of taken home.
The teams were on the field for the national anthem ceremony and immediately returned to the locker room as bad weather loomed.
The official announcement of the game’s postponement was made at 10:30 p.m.
No official announcement was made as to when the game will be rescheduled.
