The event took place in all the six area council in Abuja, where scores of party supporters gathered to witness this significant milestone.

The Chairman of the FCT APC, Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman, who led the inauguration ceremony, addressed the supporters of the party that the leadership of the party is committed to ensure the success of the party in all the area councils of the FCT.

Usman while speaking to supporters of the party in Bwari area council, reflected on the previous internal crises that undermined the authenticity of the party’s executives and emphasised, “God has made it possible that the authentic executives of this party have been made known.”

He highlighted that the national executive has endorsed the current state executive council, reassuring supporters of their legitimacy.

“We are here at Bwari to fulfill the national chairman’s directive for the 62 wards and six area councils,” Usman stated.

He further urged the electorate to support the new leaders, stating, “You are the ones that choose these people; they are here to represent you.”

Hajiha Salamatu Jibrin, the FCT APC state women’s leader, also took the stage, delivering an empowering message to the women in attendance.

“The days of your vote being disregarded are over. We are going to mobilise, and by the special grace of God, we will ensure women have a stake in leadership roles,” she said.

A prominent APC stakeholder, Mr Solomon Ayuba, expressed appreciation for the day’s significance, recalling the difficult times the party faced.

“We find ourselves in this situation today, inaugurating new executives who will take the party forward,” he explained.

Ayuba expressed confidence in the incumbents to provide even better service during their new term.

According to him, as the APC positions itself for the upcoming area council elections in the FCT, the newly inaugurated executives, equipped with renewed confidence and community endorsement, are poised to harness the collective will of their supporters to ensure a successful campaign.

Another key figure within the party, Alhaji Yahaya Isah, praised the collective commitment of its members, emphasizing the necessity of unity within the party to reclaim lost ground in the Bwari area council.

He urged the new executive to maintain loyalty to party values and effectiveness, stating, “If it is APC, let it be APC.”

The Bwari ward chairman, Ali Shere, delivered the welcome speech, thanking all stakeholders, aspirants, and supporters for their dedication and hard work.

He noted the importance of establishing a functional party office and expressed enthusiasm for future endeavors under the new leadership.
