The Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), CP Olatunji Disu, has lost his son, Tunde, in a motor accident.

Details of the fatal accident remainec unclear as of press time, but sources indicated that the incident occurred on Monday, the same day CP Disu visited CSP A.A. Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ushafa Division, who also lost his son earlier.

During the condolence visit, CP Disu extended his heartfelt sympathies to CSP Sambo and his family, offering words of comfort and assuring them of the FCT Police Command’s unwavering support during the difficult period.

Speaking on behalf of the FCT Police Command, CP Disu prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased and sought divine strength to uphold the bereaved family through their irreplaceable loss.

Efforts to reach the FCT Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Josephine Adeh, for an official statement were unsuccessful, as her phone line remained unreachable. She was yet to respond to a text message sent to her at the time of this report.
