FCT Head of Civil Service, Mr Samuel Atang, at the closing ceremony of the 2022 digital innovation training for the secondary school students under the Abuja Youth Entrepreneurs Club (AYEC), described the programme as a beacon of hope and a testament to the commitment of the FCT Administration to empowering young minds in schools towards developing the education sector.

The Head of Service, who was represented by the acting director of human resources in FCTA, Mr Akinkunmi Ogunniran, also said the FCT administration led by Nyesom Wike would continue to support the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) to provide opportunities for development and entrepreneurship together so that they can build a brighter future for Nigeria.

“The Abuja Enterprise Agency has also played a crucial role in this initiative which was curated to promote the entrepreneurial spirit in our young population. Their support and facilities have provided a conducive environment for learning and innovation.

“I commend their efforts in nurturing young talents and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit within the Federal Capital Territory. Their unwavering commitment to empowering the young generation is truly admirable,” he said.

Earlier, the acting managing director of Abuja Enterprise Agency, Mr Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, said promoting effective digital innovation skills among young boys and girls, especially in secondary schools is considered a conscious developmental strategy necessary for integrating teenagers into the competitive labour market.
