Kebbi State Commandant of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), ACF Hassan Danashibi Jega, has decorated 16 officers promoted by the command for their noble services.
They were decorated with their new ranks at a ceremony held at the command’s headquarters in Birnin Kebbi under the supervision of the Zonal Commandant of the Service, CF Muhammed Ibn Umar.
Speaking during the occasion, FFS Commandant in the state, ACF Jega revealed that 11 DSF and 5 ASF II officers, were promoted to their next ranks.
ACF Danashibi Jega charged them to be more active in discharging their responsibilities in order to justify their promotions.
“You are not the only ones in the Command but, you were chosen based on merit and promoted, as such, do not relent in your efforts in making this command proud,” Jega said.
He also called on other officers to see the promotion of their colleagues as a challenge, to put more efforts in their respective duties.
The Commandant also commended the FFS headquarters for supporting the FFS Command in the state.
He also thanked the Kebbi State government for assisting the command with the necessary equipment and facilities to enhance its operations in the state.
