The Federal Government has conferred the award of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) on Mr. Umar Abdullahi, chairman/CEO of Cosgrove Investment Limited.
Abdullahi was recognised for the resounding impact he made in the country’s housing sector particularly by pioneering the integration of state-of-the-art technology into real estate in the country.
Abdullahi is the founder of Cosgrove, a real estate development organisation that developed the first fully automated estate in the country – Cosgrove Smart Estate in Abuja.
His recognition was bestowed alongside 339 other distinguished Nigerians and friends of the nation.
Also, former Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Emeka Anyaoku bagged the country’s second highest National Honor of Grand Commander of Order of the Niger (GCON), while ten Justices of the Supreme Court were also honoured alongside the Emir of Dutse, Nuhu Sanusi and the Governor of the CBN, Godwin Emefiele among others.
