President Muhammadu Buhari has confirmed the appointment of deputy corps marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, as the substantive corps marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
Biu was appointed the acting corps marshal in July 2022 when the then corps marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi, retired from the service.
Spokesman of the FRSC, Bisi Kazeem, said the seasoned road safety professional hails from Hawul local government area of Borno State and was born in Zaria, Kaduna State.
He joined the services of the FRSC in 1988 and rose through hard work, dedication and commitment to the rank of deputy corps marshal and has held several positions of authority.
The corps marshal holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
