The Federal Government said the diaspora sponsors of the #EndBadGovernance protesters have been placed on watch list to be arrested when entering the country.

Comptroller General Nigeria Immigration Service, Kemi Nanna Nandap disclosed this at a meeting of heads of security agencies and Service Chiefs convened by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa at the Defense Headquarters, Abuja on Tuesday.

“We have diaspora sponsors. They are on our watch list. They are watch-listed, any attempt they make to come into the country, we’ll be notified and they will be picked up and handed to appropriate authority,” Nandap said.

The Immigration Boss said the Service has in response to the protests deployed more officers to land and airports borders to ensure effective manning of those entry points.
