Senator Barau, who is also the first deputy speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, assured Nigerians of the present administration’s commitment to turn around the country’s fortunes positively for the benefit of all.

Barau, in a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ismail Mudashir, urged Muslims to seek Allah’s grace for the country’s peace, unity, security and economic prosperity.

He urged Nigerians, irrespective of all differences, to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he works hard to positively turn around the country’s fortunes.

“I wish Muslims and indeed all Nigerians a most memorable Eid-el-Kabir. As we all know, this season reminds us to place our faith in the compassion and wisdom of Allah and to be obedient to His instructions, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim. True Muslims must adhere to peace, tolerance, justice, and charity.

“Also, in the spirit of this season, irrespective of our faith, rededicate ourselves to the dreams and aspirations of building a strong, united and economically sound country,” he said.
