The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is coordinating the evacuation, which has commenced with mobilising the citizens and would be followed immediately with all necessary requirement to bring them home.

In a statement on Friday, NEMA said a leader of Nigeria community, through a telephone conversation, acknowledged the support by the Nigerian Mission in Lebanon especially in their safe movement out of high-risk areas.
