A statement on Saturday e-signed by the acting rector, a copy of which was made available to LEADERSHIP, reads: “On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, Staff and Students of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji,Ondo State, I warmly felicitate our Christian Brothers and Sisters in the Polytechnic Community, and Nigerians at large on the occasion of this year’s Easter Celebration.

“The commemoration of Easter is a cardinal event in the Christendom that marks the triumph of Christ over death through resurrection and which rekindles the hope of Christian faithful in eternity.

“Christ teachings of Love, Sacrifice, Perseverance and Humility should be  imbibed by all and sundry  during this festive period and beyond so as to guarantee a better society.

“Let me also seize this auspicious occasion to thank and appreciate all Staff and Students of the Polytechnic for their unalloyed support, assurances and understanding since my appointment as the Acting Rector of our esteemed Institution. The task ahead is a collective one and I humbly implore us to team up together to take our Polytechnic to greater heights.
