The new rector of the Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Dr Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku has resumed office with a call for cooperation from management and staff of the institution.
According to a press release signed by Oluyemi Adebiyi, head, Information, Protocol & Passages, Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, the polytechnic community was agog with elation as the second substantive rector of the polytechnic resumed for official duties.
The new rector’s first point of call in the ancient town of Ile-Oluji was to the Palace of the Jegun-Olu-Ekun the paramount ruler of Ile-Oluji Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Julius Oluwole Olufaderin Adetimehin Jimoko II, to receive royal blessings and to make an appeal to the Kabiyesi for his support and that of the community in moving the polytechnic forward.
The rector then proceeded to the twin auditorium of the permanent campus of the Institution in a motorcade with pomp where he and his guests were warmly received by the Polytechnic community.
Adebiyi stated that many former colleagues from Federal Polytechnic, Offa and Lens Polytechnic who accompanied him to the reception lauded Ebeloku as a man of integrity, sound character with a knack for efficiency and an aptitude for great transformation.
