Lead Consultant, Senema Production Limited, Emmanuel Ohiomokhare while speaking in Abuja on Thursday at a media workshop in collaboration with Women in Media Development Initiative (WMDI)stated that the media landscape has undergone significant transformation in recent decades, yet many within the industry have been slow to embrace its evolving dynamics.

Ohiomokhare noted that despite several opportunities in the media, many traditional media practitioners have been reluctant to adapt, allowing non-media individuals, such as citizen journalists, to capitalize on emerging opportunities adding that it is imperative that genuine media practitioners, embrace these changes and seize the opportunities they present.

“Life is an ongoing lesson, and we must evolve with the times.

“One such innovation is the integration of Artificial Intelligence into media practices, which holds immense potential for revenue generation among women in the media.

Co-Founder, Women in Media Development Initiative, Omolola Oladimeji Women stated that WMDI strongly believe that training is the sensor that helps female practitioner thrive especially in the terrain where gender parity thrives and reign, but believes that an empowered woman would translate to an empowered country.
