“From tomorrow, Thursday, we will embark on a tour of ongoing and commissioned projects of the federal government and those of the Government of Enugu State,” he said.

Idris said, after the tour of projects, the team would host a ‘Citizens Engagement Forum’ in the Enugu State Government House, on Thursday at 6 pm, to rub minds and get feedback from various stakeholders in Enugu State.

“This pattern will be repeated in Ebonyi State, where His Excellency Governor Ogbonna Erishi Nwifiru will receive us on Friday, August 15, 2025. The two Citizens’ Engagement events will be broadcast live on national news networks,” he said.

The Minister commended the warm reception accorded his delegation, especially from Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State, “who, on short notice, is rendering all forms of support for our visit.”

He also conveyed President Tinubu’s goodwill to the people of the South East, stating: “Your Excellency, Distinguished Guests, we bring you warm greetings and felicitations from President Bola Tinubu, Nigeria’s most committed reformer. The Renewed Hope Agenda is real and is working.”
