Dr. Ipaye, appointed as an independent non-executive director, is a distinguished governance and public health specialist with over 20 years of experience in leadership, policy formulation, and health systems reform. A former commissioner for Health in Ogun state and consultant health specialist with the World Bank, his expertise spans major public health initiatives, including malaria, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and COVID-19 programs.

Mr. Ejiofor, also joining as an independent non executive director, is a seasoned chartered accountant with over three decades of leadership experience in finance, logistics, and supply chain management across multinational organizations in Nigeria and Rwanda. His deep financial acumen and strategic planning expertise will enhance Fidson’s operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ayebae, appointed as executive director of business development and marketing, has been instrumental in Fidson’s growth since 2011. Under his leadership, the company’s herbal and nutraceutical division flourished, and over 40 new profitable products were introduced within five years. His background in marketing, business management, and project management will further drive Fidson’s brand expansion and market leadership.

Speaking on the appointments, board chairman Mr. Olusegun Adebanji expressed confidence in the new directors, stating, “Their diverse expertise and leadership will strengthen our strategic direction, ensuring we continue to deliver quality healthcare solutions.”

Fidson Healthcare Plc has consistently been recognized for excellence, receiving accolades such as the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company of the Year by the Nigeria Healthcare Excellence Awards and being named one of Africa’s Fastest Growing Companies by The Financial Times, London. With a reinforced leadership team, the company is poised to advance its mission of transforming healthcare delivery in Africa.
